WILLIAMS, Colton Douglas - 3 months, passed away suddenly at home on January 7, 2009, surrounded by his parents, Doug and Kim (George) Williams, and his critters. Colton was born on October 9, 2008 in the IWK Health Centre, Halifax. He spent most of his short life in the IWK Health Centre Neo-Natal ICU where our special boy touched the hearts of all including the many doctors, nurses, and visitors who met him. He is survived by his parents, Doug and Kim Williams; maternal grandparents, Shirley George and Jeffery Wilson; paternal grandparents, Douglas Frederick and Myrtle Julia (Morrell) Williams; great-grandfather, Roy Morrell; aunts and uncles, Florence and Robbin Gilroy, Angela and John Alick, Ken George, Diane Wilson, Gordon Wilson; many loving cousins, great-aunts and uncles and extended family. He will be sadly missed by all family and many special friends. He was predeceased by great-grandmothers, Lillian George, Vera Gullage, Florence Morrell, and Eileen Taylor; great-grandfathers, Douglas Henry Williams, William Gullage; great-aunts, Patricia Snyder, Ruth Panzor; cousins, Francis Snyder and Nancy Collins. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11 from 1-3 p.m. followed by a Service of Celebration of Colton's life at 3 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Rev. TAYLOR, Eileen Rose - 92, Athol Road, Springhill, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2007, in All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Charles Frederick and Effie Janet (Smith) Austin. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church, the Miller Corner Ladies Aid and a Sunday school teacher at The Miller Corner Church for several years. She was also a member of Pythian Star Temple No. 8, Pythian Sisters, Springhill Senior Citizens and a past member of St. John Ambulance. She enjoyed her family, hunting, fishing, sewing, quilting, and traveling. She is survived by sons, Fred (Myrtle) Williams, Austin (Brenda) Williams, both of Springhill; Greg (Maria) Williams, Black Creek, B.C.; sisters, Evelyn Ferguson and Elda Whyte, both of Springhill; nine grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; one great great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Douglas Williams; second husband, Alfred Taylor, and brothers, Elmer and Earl. Cremation has taken place at her request. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, July 20, followed immediately at 3 p.m. with a memorial funeral service with Rev. Perry Hanley officiating, both in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill. Burial in Rodney Cemetery, Cumberland County. If so desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
