OBITUARY: Mrs. George Trask
Parrsboro - Mrs. George Trask, 71, died Saturday in Dawson Memorial
Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Parrsboro, she was the former Elsie Muriel
Mills, a daughter of the late Ernest and Eva (Shipley) Mills. Surviving are
six daughters, Mary (Mrs. Richard Lock), Margaret (Mrs. David Bland), both
of Amherst; Lois (Mrs. Walter Nuttall), Jennie (Mrs. Ray Allen), both of
Parrsboro; Muriel (Mrs. Winston Schofield, Wolfville; Dorothy (Mrs. Frank
Holliday), South Brookfield; two sons, Wallace, Amherst; Charles, Parrsboro;
21 grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Robert.
The body is at Smith's Funeral home, where funeral service will be 2 p.m.
Tuesday, Rev. Parker Matheson officiating. Burial will be in the United
Church Cemetery.

OBITUARY: George Ivor Trask
Parrsboro - George Ivor Trask, died at his home here after an illness of
four months. He was 61. He was born in England, son of the late Susan and
James Trask. He came here in 1922. He is survived by his wife, the former
Elsie Mills of Parrsboro; six daughters, Mary (Mrs. Richard Lock), Margaret
(Mrs. Dave Bland), and Jean (Mrs. Reagh Allen), all of Amherst; Dorothy
(Mrs. Conrad Manning), in Saskatchewan; Muriel (Mrs. John Corbin), Berwick;
and Lois ( Mrs. Walter Nuttall), of Parrsboro; three sons, Robert in
Saskatchewan; Wallace, Amherst; and Charles, at home; 13 grandchildren; two
sisters, Mrs. Mary Coleman, Joggins; and Mrs. Norris Greer, Debert; three
brothers, Charles and John, both of Joggins; and Thomas, Toronto. Funeral
services were held Friday at Smith's Funeral Home in Parrsboro, Rev. R.
Doering officiating. Interment was in the United Church Cemetery.

PARRSBORO YOUTH KILLED IN MONTANA
Parrsboro - Word has been received that Robert Trask, 18, son of Mrs. George
Trask and the late George Trask, Parrsboro, was killed near Chinook,
Montana, Saturday, while employed in transporting grain by diesel truck from
Saskatchewan. Driver of the truck was not seriously injured. The body is
being forwarded to Parrsboro for interment in the United Church Cemetery.
