Marjorie;
Elvira Aliece Webb was the daughter of ISRAEL BARKER WEBB and Amy Ann Lewis.
They were married 26 Sept 1848.Elvira was born 14 Jun 1866 in Lower Five Islands
She was only 14 when she married Robert William Eagles on 19 May 1880. They
had 3 sons: William Oscar , 18 Aug 1881; Charles H Eagles b 1883; and Asher
born date unknown.Robert died in Blue Sac, Cumb Co N S where they had a farm.
Apparently there seems to have been an accident because apparently he died in her arms.This was told to me by a grandaughter of Stephen Benjamin Phinney who is a
first cousin of my husband.
She married Benjamin on 1 Sept 1890 one of whom was my father-in-law , Harris
Leroy Phinney . They had 6 children . Elvara died on the 3 July 1921 of an abdominal tumour. Benjamin died on 21 Jan 1926 of a strangulated hernia .Sadly my husband never knew his grandparents. That is partly why i am doing Genealogy.
Stephen Benjamin Phinney was the son of James Edward Phinney and Melissa Lois
Webb daughter of Luther Morris Lovely and Sarah Morris. I received this information from
David Winter as I was cofused about her parents. They lived in Advocate Harbour.
I live near there and did not even know.I got my information from family members so i am sure of it.
