I stumbled across this little tidbit of information on Alvira Webb last night. Apparently, she was married to a Robert Eagles before she married Stephen Benjamin Phinney. She was only 14 when she married Robert Eagles on May 19, 1880 in Five Islands. He was 23. I haven't been able to find out if they had any children. Robert Eagles was born about 1857 and was the son of Isiah Eagles and Barbara, but I haven't found out what Barbara's maiden name was as of yet, nor when Robert Eagles died or if he married again, or how long the marriage lasted.
Does anyone know when Alvira married Stephen Benjamin Phinney? I found a death certificate for Stephen, under the name Benjamin, and his parents were James Phinney and Eliza Lovely, rather than Lois Lovely. The date of his death is January 21, 1926 in Springhill, and his birth date says January 1,1864, but his birth notice says his birth date is December 31, 1867. Is this the same Stephen "Benjamin" Phinney who was married to Alvira? She passed before he did, but his death certificate says he was married, as opposed to widowed.
