Helen Hoelter - Baltimore, MD - Helen Edith Hoelter, 67, of Baltimore,
MD., died Monday, Jan. 13 1992 at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore. She
was born Jan. 23, 1924 in Dorchester, Mass., the daughter of the late
Harold and Vilda Parker of Decatur. She was married for almost 25 years
to Herb Hoelter of Niagara Falls. She lived most of her life in Niagara
Falls, before moving to Baltimore in 1980 to be near her son and
daughter. She remained in Baltimore until her death. While there, she
was an employee of the Girl Scouts of America, where she worked until
her retirement in 1986. She was a member of St. William of York Parish.
She is survived by ten children: John Dundas of Corning, Regina Palmer
of Oneonta, Joan Castellani of Buffalo, Margaret Weber of Kitchener,
Ontario, Herb Hoelter of Baltimore, Peter Hoelter of Niagara Falls,
Moria Saviola of Jacksonville, Fla., Mark Hoelter of Orlando, Fla.,
Melanie Hoeleter of Baltimore, Mary Beth McLaughlin of Niagara Falls;
two brothers, Allen Parker and Roy Parker of Decatur; her sisters, Chloe
Van Valen of Trumansburg and her twin sister, Helena Adair of Oneonta.
She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. William of York Church
in Baltimore on Jan. 15. Prayer services will also be held at the
Skinner Funeral Home on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m., with the Rev.
William Crandell, pastor of St. Joseph's Church, Worcester, officiating.
Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester, in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the William
McCarthy Scholarship Fund, c/o St. William of York School, 600 Cooks
Lane, Baltimore, MD. 21229.
Local funeral arrangements are by the Skinner Funeral Home, Worcester.
