William "Oliver" Allen, son of Martin Allen b 1817 and Christianna "Rebecca" Oulton b 1825, was born 1850 in Westmorland, NB. He married Julia Grace Knowlton, dtr of William Knowlton 1837-1892 and Julia (Crossman) 1849-1924 in 1883 in Fraserville, Cumb NS.
