Cameron's of Advocate Hbr.

Seasons greetings!

Would anyone know the origin of the Cameron clan of Advocate Harbour. I
have Hugh Cameron b: 25 Apr 1824 where: ? s/o ? & ? married: 1850
to Eliza Ward b:1831 d/o Joshua Ward & Dorothy Morris of Advocate Hbr.
He appears to have arrived there in the 1840's since the Cameron name
does not appear on the 1836 list of area inhabitants for taxation.
