Hi Ron & Eric:
When you compare the 1891 and 1901 Censuses, there appears to be only ONE
daughter born in this time frame. Sarah in 1891; Annie in 1901; Annie May in
1902 when she m/1 William Alexander MacAloney. In 1911, she¹s Annie King. In
1947, Annie appears to be m/3 to a McCormick and living in Saint John from
her mother¹s obit. In 1967, Annie appears to be m/4 to a Harrison and living
in New Glasgow from brother, Levi¹s obit.

OBITUARY: Mrs. Sarah F. Best
The death of Mrs. Sarah F. Best, 92, widow of the late Samuel S. Best, of
Parrsboro, occurred on March 10th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Frederick M. Blake, 704 Broadway, Saugus, Mass., after a lengthy illness.
Born in London, England, Mrs. Best was a resident of Parrsboro for many
years and friends here would learn with regret of her passing. She had lived
with her daughter in Saugus for the past 14 years. Surviving are four
daughters, Mrs. Blake in Saugus, Mass.; Mrs. Alvin Phinney of Parrsboro;
Mrs. Marian Dalser and ***Mrs. Annie McCormick, both of St. John***; three
sons, James A. Best of Parrsboro; Gordon and Levi Best, both of St. John; a
sister, Miss Emily Boyd of Roxbury, Mass.; a brother, William D. Boyd of
Bellerica, Mass.; 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. The funeral
was held from the home of her daughter, 704 Broadway, Saugus, with Reverend
Charles B. McDuffee, pastor of the Cliftondale Congregational Church
officiating. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery in Saugus.The many
floral tributes included those from Third "X" General Electric Company,
Buzzell Associates of Somerville, relatives, friends and neighbors.

OBITUARY:
Levi Best, 83, seaman, Parrsboro, died in South Cumberland Memorial
Hospital. Born in Maitland, Colchester County, he was the son of the late
Samuel and Sarah Best. He is survived by one daughter, Dora (Mrs. Paul
Murphy), Boston; one brother, Gordon, Saint John; two sisters, ***Mrs. Annie
Harrison, New Glasgow*** and Mrs. Elsie Phinney, Parrsboro. Funeral services
were held today at St. George's Anglican Church, Parrsboro. Interment will
be in the church cemetery.
