OBITUARY: Burton W. Parker
Diligent River - Burton W. Parker, 31, Diligent River, died Thursday in
Harrison Settlement. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Charles
and Josephine (Cole) Parker. He is survived by his wife, the former Marie
Tupper; a son, Charles, at home. The body is in Smith's Funeral Home,
Parrsboro. Funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday in St. George's Anglican Church,
Parrsboro, Rev. Whitley Trueman officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.

OBITUARY:
Mrs. Charles Tupper
Parrsboro - Mrs. Charles Tupper, 62, Parrsboro, died Wednesday in Parrsboro
Hospital. Born in Parrsboro, she was the former Anna Josephine Olsen, a
daughter of the late Augustus and Frances (Brown) Olsen. She was a member of
St. George's Anglican Church and Blomidon Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by
her husband, Charles; three daughters, Annie Marie and Mrs. Linda Taggart,
both of Parrsboro; Marie (Mrs. Burton Parker), Diligent River; a sister,
Marie (Mrs. Lee Cone) and a brother, Herman, both of Parrsboro; a grandson.
She was predeceased by a brother, Carl. The body is in Smith's Funeral Home,
Parrsborro. Funeral will be Friday in St. George's Anglican Church, Rev. W.
Trueman officiating, with burial in church cemetery.
