Obit: CLEVELAND, Laura Angeline [FIELD]
CLEVELAND, Laura Angeline - 95, passed away peacefully in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst on Sunday, November 30, 2008. Born in Apple River, she was a daughter of the late James and Lila (McDougall) Field. She is survived by daughters, Sylvia (Heber) Glenwright, St. Andrews, N.B.; Robena Rowland, London, Ont.; Beverly Bayart, Dartmouth; son, Dwayne (Marsha) Cleveland, Amherst; sister, Phyllis McWhirter, Rothesay, N.B. Surviving also are seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Laura was predeceased by husband, Cyril; sisters, Jessie, Ella, Winnifred; brothers, Arnold, Gordon and Cleveland. Laura was a member of the River Hebert United Church and the UCW. In later years she enjoyed the companionship of her fellow parishioners in Brookdale. Many of Laura's fondest memories were of times spent entertaining family and friends at her cottage in Northport. Special thanks and appreciation are extended to the staff of Centennial Villa, where her devoted caretakers and fellow residents became her cherished friends. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 2, at 2 p.m. in Brookdale United Church, Brookdale, with a reception to follow.
