Hi Carl,
Finding the Holmes obit at the library was quite by accident. I'm currently
working on a small book about St. Luke's Anglican Churchyard that will
contain small biographies of people buried in this historic cemetery in
Victoria, B.C. In January of next year the Anglican Diocese of British
Columbia will be celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Letters Patent. I
hope to have 150 biographies highlighted in the book. While looking for a
particular obit my eye caught the work "Parrsboro" so I had to copy it for
the list.
My grandmother was from Parrsboro and my mother told me she lived in
Parrsboro for one year when she was a young girl. I hope I'll be able to
visit the area sometime in the future, but for now learning about the people
from the area is very interesting. Thanks for your note of appreciation.
