William "Bill" George 1933 - 2008 William "Bill" George of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Born in Sackville, NB son of the late Edmund and Phyllis (Davison) George. Bill was a member and former president of the Moncton Photo Club. He will be sadly missed by his wife Barbara (Juden) of 51 years; one son, David (Carolyn) of Riverview; one daughter, Margo Chase of Moncton; three grandchildren, Andrew, Heather, Jacob and his cat, Buddy. He is also survived by two sisters, Phyllis Anne (John) Champion and Moira Lawrence, as well as one brother, Peter (Linda) George and four nephews, Eric Lawrence, Richard Lawrence, Eddie George and Christopher George. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, November 27, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2008 from Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Friend's of The Moncton Hospital "Stroke Unit" would be appreciated.
