DAVIS, Wallace Sidney - 70, Bass River, died Sunday at home. Born in
Lower Five Islands, he was a son of the late John and Gertrude (Davis)
Davis. He is survived by a daughter, Helen Olaney, Brookside; three
sisters, Madeline (Mrs. Wiley McLellan), Economy; Georgina Hennigar,
Truro; Hazel Carter, Ontario; a brother, Leo Morrison, Ontario; two
grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Ethel
Johnson; a brother; Edward. Funeral was held Thursday in the Mattatal
Funeral Home. Burial was in Five islands Cemetery. Donations may be
made to Canadian Cancer Society or Nova Scotia Heart Foundation.
