Here it is. Below her obit is some data on a William Bernard Winters who may
or may not be her son.

I guess I need someone in N.B. to do a random act of genealogical kindness
to locate his 1987 obit or his 1954 marriage document to be sure. I could
pay the $10.00 and get the marriage document but if it¹s not him,

OBITUARY - Martha Winters
East Advocate - Relatives and friends were shocked and saddened when it was
learned that Martha Winters had passed away at an early hour on Friday
morning, June 16th in the Bay View Memorial Hospital, Advocate, following a
severe heart attack on Thursday. Although not in good health for the past
year she had been about as usual previous to her passing. She was born in
East Advocate sixty years ago on June 9, 1901, a daughter of the late Daniel
and Rachel Morris Winters and had lived her entire life in Advocate where
she had a wide circle of friends. Left to mourn is one son, Bernard of
Pokologan; one granddaughter, Jane; and one sister, Mrs. Mary McKinnon,
Parrsboro; two brothers, Fred of Parrsboro and Clinton of Truro. Two sisters
and two brothers predeceased her some time ago. The funeral service was held
on Sunday at 4 p.m. from the United Church with Lic. John Powell
officiating. The United Choir was in attendance with the organist, Mrs. Carl
Mills. Hymns sung were: "The Lord's My Shepherd" and "Abide With Me". Pall
bearers were: Austin Spicer, Carl Berry, Vernon Lunn and Earl Clarke,
funeral was directed by Allison Smith, MLA, Parrsboro. Interment was in the
family lot at Advocate. There were many beautiful floral tributes.

I can only assume at this time from her obit. Bernard was born out of
wedlock (father unknown) and raised as a Winters. Also assume her
granddaughter, Jane is by Bernard and his wife. - Dave winter

Pocologan, N.B. is the next community to the left / east of Pennfield, N.B.
