Subject: [nscumber] Harry Augustus Cuvilier, WWI
There is a site under Archives Canada (Not Veterans Affairs) where
one can peruse the daily diary of regiments that served overseas,
i.e: Belgium, France. if one knows the regiment. In this thread it
has been mentioned he served with the 106th. Note that England was
not considered overseas as the Canadians were considered as part of
the British forces until Vimy Ridge.
I have accessed this site several times and was able to locate the
actual day and event where my father was gassed. However, the URL
does not come readily to hand & I'm heading out of town for ten days
so won't have the time to locate it. Should you find this site and
read the diary for the 106th, it will list the daily wounded and
killed, so it may be possible to find the answer there.
