JACKSON, John G. - Chapman Settlement, died February 2, 2008. Born in Lorneville, he was a son of the late George and Nellie (Feltham) Jackson. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Jeanette (Ackles); children, Norma, Brian (Belinda), Merryann (Bill), Teri (Rick), Betty, Carol, Grace (Sid), Holly (Dan), Pearl, Laurie (Garry), Robbie (Connie) and Jim (Darlene); 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Margaret (Eugene) Haynes, Evelyn (Douglas) Haynes and Pearl Gallant. Visitation Monday, 2-4, 7-9 p.m., with a memorial service on Tuesday at 2 p.m., both in Furlong Jones Chapel, 68 Church St., Amherst. On-line: www.furlongjones.ca
