Newspaper Clipping - Wedding of Chapman-Lowther

Hello: Just found an old newspaper clipping that was with my
grandmothers papers - there is no date on it though, it reads as
follows: WEDDING BELLS - CHAPMAN - LOWTHER A quiet but
pretty wedding was solemnized at the Methodist Parsonage this morning
at 11 o'clock, when Rev. A.S. Rogers united in the holy bonds of
matrimony. Bessie Alma, daughter of Mrs Minnie Lowther and George
Arthur Chapman of Amherst. The bride was becoming attired in a navy
blue travelling suit with grey and blue hat and grey shoes and gloves,
carrying a bouquet of carnations and sweet peas. She was attended by
Miss Amy Chappell while Mr. Allan Chapman supported the groom.
Following the ceremony a number of friends gathered at the station when
the happy couple left on the train for points of interest in Prince
Edward Island. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Chapman will reside in
Amherst where they are well known and will be followed by the best
wishes of many for much happiness.
