Re: Shinimicas Cemeteries

Hi Arthur

Well if I have to interrupt my surfing activities to assist I guess I can. In fact I have to as my Mother called and told me I better. What are families for I ask you? One does what ones Mother tells one even at my advanced age!

There is only one cemetery in the Greater Lower Shinimicas Metropolitan Area that I am aware of and it is the United Church Cemetery in what I call Shinimicas Bridge ( the signs just call it Shinimicas)

It is a sad state of affairs here in Lower Shinimicas that when our time comes we have to leave our native soil and head up the road to Shinimicas Bridge for our final abode. Some of us in fact are destined for Linden or Northport or other foreign lands.

I thought about rectifying this deficiency in our village but my wife would not allow me to open one here on the farm. Gives her the willys she says even if I would give her a discount! Oh well there is no pleasing some people.

Hope this helps as I think the variations you have encountered are all the same place. I am not certain but perhaps the church was originally Methodist before becoming United but a tad before my time.

Sheldon
