MacPHEE (nee Cormier), Vivian "Bibby" 1949 to 2007
On Christmas Day an angel went home. Vivian Jean (Bibby) MacPhee, while surrounded by her loving family, passed away at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan at the age of 58. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Martha (Roberts) Cormier. Vivian was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all those whom she touched throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by her husband James, Amherst; her three daughters Teena (Greg) Beaman, Riverview, Colleen (Brian) King, Moncton, Teresa (Wayne) Pye, Amherst; four grandchildren, Leslie, Andre, Corrilyn and James; two sisters Paula (Billy) Cormier, Amherst, Rose (Terry) Prokopow, Selkirk, ON; two brothers, Bruce (Sandy), Amherst, Tom (Karen), Hamilton, ON, many nieces and nephews and her loving cat Pee Wee. She was predeceased by her infant brother Lloyd. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 68 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Family Parish Church on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 10 am, Father Vernon Driscoll officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the CRHCC Palliative Care Unit.
