Obit: DOW, Perley Stuart
DOW - (August 21, 1935 to December 10th, 2007). The funeral for Perley Stuart Dow was held Wednesday, December 12th, 2007 at 3pm in Cadman Bowness Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence Clarke officiating. There were many friends and family attending from Nova Scotia and many parts of New Brunswick. Perley is survived by his wife, Sandra (Palmer); his daughters, Debra (Chris) Healey, Susan (Harry) Dow, Lisa Dow, and Patti (Darrin) Redmond; stepson, Matthew (Tamara) Klem and eight grandchildren, Stuart (Stephanie), Earl (Melissa), Jason, Amy, Tyler, Amanda, Jessica and baby Dylan. He is also survived by two brothers, Cyril (Stella) Dow and Samuel (Nancy) Dow; his sister Marlene, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Perley was a long time business man, always willing to lend a hand, also known as a backyard mechanic and a leading edge entrepreneur at the first recycling plant in Moncton back in the early 70's. Sandra and Perley's family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support during this troublesome time.

Perley Stuart Dow August 21, 1935 - December 10th, 2007 It is with great sadness that Perley Stuart Dow passed away on December 10th 2007, at The Moncton Hospital, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Perley (Tiny) loved to dance and play darts and especially enjoyed spending time at the "Dow Farm" in Lower Maccan, where he spent many happy moments with his horses. Born August 21, 1935 he was the son of the late Perley and Helen Dow. Perley is survived by his wife, Sandra (Palmer); his daughters, Debra (Chris) Healey, Susan (Harry) Dow, Lisa Dow, Patti (Darrin) Redmond; stepson, Matthew (Tamara) Klem; eight grandchildren, Stuart (Stephanie), Earl (Melissa), Jason, Amy, Tyler, Amanda, Jessica and baby Dylan. He is also survived by two brothers, Cyril (Stella) Dow and Samuel (Nancy) Dow; many cousins, nieces and nephews. By request there will not be any visiting hours prior to his Memorial Service which will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 3 pm in Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street Moncton. Cremation has taken place and interment will be in Fairhaven Cemetery later in the spring. Donations in Perley's name made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
