Book: Hatfield's of Cumberland County, N.S. 1783-2007

I just received my new copy of the revised edition of "the HATFIELDS of
Cumberland County, N.S." in today's mail.

The author, George Hatfield Hayward has done a tremendous and superb job of
compiling and revising the 1943 edition. The hard cover version is also very
professionally bound. It's not just a book of names, dates and places but
filled with loads of supporting and referenced data for the descendants
contained within. At 959 pages and slightly over 2 inches thick, this
revised book could become the "Cadillac" edition for Genealogist researching
their Hatfield roots back to Cumberland County, N.S., particularly over the
past 50 years.

As a "Hatfield" descendant listed in this book, I am certainly very pleased
with my $65.00 plus postage purchase. It may very well find it's way under
the Christmas tree if I can stop reading it long enough.
