Elisha Grant Canning b 1902 was presumably named after Imbert's brother-in-law Elisha E Grant was killed in 1898 when a boat owned by Imbert called the "Caldera" was loading lumber and Elisha was crushed by falling lumber. Elisha Grant was married to Imbert's sister Cordelia Amelia Canning. I have a picture of Elisha Grant here if you'd like to have it.
I also just found that I have a picture of Imbert Canning, his daughter Gladys from his first wife Laura and his second wife Minnie Ellen Scott! If anyone would like this jpeg sent to them, please let me know.
