Although transcribed as printed, this obit. below has several "misprints".
However, my CANNING database isn't large enough to figure out what's wrong
and who she really is.
Brother-in-law, "Albert" Parsons has to be Clarence Parsons while her mother
has to be Julia Ann Dowe not Cecilia if her sister is Elizabeth "Lizzie"
(Canning) Sears.
What is daughter, Bella's" maiden name?
Who did Lila m/1?
Unable to locate her 1943 death record on the NSARM website.

OBITUARY: Mrs. John Welton
The death of Mrs. John Welton occurred suddenly at here home here on
Saturday evening, only an hour or so after she had been working in her
garden. Residing in Parrsboro since last fall, the deceased was formerly
Lila Canning, a daughter of the late Thomas and Cecilia Dowe Canning of
Diligent River where she lived most of her life. Besides her husband, she is
survived by a daughter, Bella, be a former marriage; also, by two sisters,
Mrs. Albert Parsons of Fox River and Mrs. William Sears of Springhill
Junction; and by three brothers, Thomas Canning of Halifax; Norman of
Diligent River; and Howard in the U.S.A. The funeral was held at her home
yesterday afternoon, with Rev. J.N. Barbour officiating. Interment was made
in the Baptist Cemetery here.
