HATCHER, Frederick - 83, Amherst, died October 12, 2007. He was a son of the late Alexander and Elsie (Cox) Hatcher. Fred served in the Canadian Army during the Second World War. Surviving are daughter, Deborah (Anthony) Boudreau; grandchildren, Michelle (Will) Jeannot, Dennis (Patti) Boudreau; great grandchildren, Lucas, Marina and Ella Jeannot, Craig Scopie, Haylee and Emily Boudreau; sisters, Elsie Apesteguy, Georgina (Raymond) Dowling; brothers, Alex (Florence), Daniel; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane (Card); brothers, Charles, Walter, Freeman, Clayton; sisters, Bertha, Ethel, Mary, Naomia, Cora. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Furlong Jones Funeral Home, Amherst (667-8777). No visitation. Graveside service in River Hebert Cemetery today at 11:30 a.m. www.furlongjones.ca
