Hi Pam:
I have nothing more than you on Richard Desmond or Hannah/Anna Maria
George's parents.
St. Brigid's has it's records in microfilm at NSARM up until about 1905.
However, much of it is faintly / lightly written and in Latin to boot. I can
look at their burial records sometime for Richard "if" he died before 1905 -
could have died anytime from then to 1908 when the death records kick in.
For the George's, it would take a fair bit of time slowly reading and
deciphering the Latin to locate anything if it were there.

Hi Dave,
Youve sure done a lot of detective work. After seeing all the evidence
I would agree with your conclusion. Thank you for keeping me informed
now I have to update my trees.
Dave, could you find some death information on Richard Desmond who
married Anna Marie George. Richard was born about Aug 1846 in
Newfoundland; he married April 17, 1870 and had eight children that I
know of. The last reference I have listing him is the 1901 Census.
Id also like some information on the death of Mary McGuire who was
married to John George. Mary was born about 1811 in Ireland and the
last mention I have of her is on the 1881 Census. I dont have a
marriage date, but have 8 children born to her. The first child was
born in 1840.
Pam
