including clothing, lumber and most foods except meats, sugar and fats.

The new electric lights at the Little River Baptist Church were

September 1, 2007. Born in Wyvern, daughter of the late Byron and Essa
Mac (MacArthur) Stonehouse. Surviving are daughter-in-law Marjorie E.
Sweet, Springhill. Predeceased by her husband Levi Hobart Sweet in
1987; son Roderick A. Sweet in 1993.

RUSHTON, Robert Munroe "Bobby", aged 57 years, Springhill, Saturday,
September 1, 2007. Born in Springhill, son of Marguerite (Austin)
Rushton of Calgary and the late George Rushton. Survived by his wife,
the former Vicky Chapman; sons Matthew (Deanna) Rushton, Patrick
(Bonnie) Rushton, all of Ontario; Robert Rushton (Catherine Ross,
Sydney, CB; Andrew Rushton, Springhill. Brother Allan (Rouie) Rushton,
Oxford; sisters Carolyn Rushton, Sackville, NB; Hannah (Ace) Boss,
Springhill; Mary Lou (Pat) Phalen, Calgary; Marie (Jerry) Chappman, Oxford.

HARDIE, William (Bill), 78, Kingston, ON, formerly of Malagash Mines,
August 29, 2007. Survived by his wife Muriel; son Fred, Florida; sister
Mabel Drummond, Tatamagouche. Predeceased by his parents fred and Helen
Hardie; sisters Violet Newcombe, Shirley MacKenzie and Betty Hicks.

CONRAD, Lawrence Leslie "Larry", 87, Pugwash, Friday, August 31, 2007.
Born in Dartmouth on September 6, 1919, son of the late Freeman and
Mabel (Hubley) Conrad. Survived by wife Jean (Bergman) Conrad; sons
Curtis (Maryann), Laurie (Sherry), and Mark (Brenda). Predeceased by
sisters Dorothy, Barbara and Golda; brothers, Clyde and Clarence; nephew
and nieces Paul, Doreen and Marilyn.


SMITH, Donald, who passed away in Calgary on August 11, 2007, was held
on August 16, 2007, Amherst. Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Linden.
