Obit: FULTON, Emma Angeline "Ann" [CANNING]

FULTON, Emma Angeline "Ann" - 94, High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2007, in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Nappan. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Rupert and Jessie (Morris) Canning. She was an adherent of All Saints Anglican Church, Springhill. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of various organizations over the years and was an avid reader who possessed a great sense of humour. She is survived by son, Richard (Amy) Fulton, Springhill Junction; daughters, Helen (Harold) Pederson, Golden, B.C., and Linda Yorke (Lawrence Sabean), Springhill; brothers, Morris Canning, Amherst; Lewis (Bertha) Canning, Moncton, N.B., and Bruce (Diane) Canning, Pembroke, Ont.; sisters, Audrey (Bob) Mayne, Pembroke, Ont., and Doris Walton, Amherst; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Fulton; grandson, Miles Pederson; brothers, Darrell Canning and Cyril Canning; and sister, Mary Fortune. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Sunday, September 30, in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 1, with Rev. Brieanna Andrews officiating. Burial in West Brook Cemetery, Cumberland County. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, L.A. Animal Shelter or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
