Obit: BELL, Phylis Nellie [KENDRICK]
BELL, Phylis Nellie - 87, Brampton, Ont., passed away peacefully on September 25, 2007, in Burton Manor, Brampton. Born December 6, 1919, in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl (Jenks) Kendrick. After finishing high school, she completed her nurse's training in Saint John, where she met her husband of 61 years, Robert Stevenson Bell. They lived for many years in Halifax, where she worked as a nurse at the Victoria General Hospital and Robert served with the R.C.M.P. In 1970 the family moved to Ottawa. When Robert retired, they relocated first to Cobourg and finally, to Brampton. She will be sadly missed by sons, John and Robert; daughters, Heather and Anne Marie; daughters-in-law, Penny and Vonnie; grandchildren, Heather Anne, Barriki and Sean; Sean's mother Michelle; dear friends, Mary and Patty. A graveside service for Phylis and her husband, Robert will be held Monday, October 1, at 11 a.m. in St. George's Anglican Cemetery, Parrsboro, Rev. Frank Likely officiating.
