Obit: BENT, Peggy Edith Pearl [YORKE]

BENT (Yorke), Peggy Edith Pearl - Debert, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family in Colchester Regional Hospital on September 26, 2007. Born April 18, 1930, in Parrsboro, she was the daughter of the late Harold "Skip" and Alice (Sherman) Yorke. Peggy is survived by her husband, Lawrence; sons, Jack, Dartmouth; and Larry, British Columbia; daughters, Aneta (Lorne) Lively, Beaverbank; Aleta Mitton and Shona (Carl) Lachance, both of Sackville; stepchildren, Gary, Bridgetown and Judy (Dennis) Cress, Clementsvale; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Arthur MacAloney; sons, James, Terry, and Donnie; and son-in-law, Roydon Mitton. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Parrsboro at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in memory to Debert Volunteer Fire Department
