William Walter Chandler
I posted his wife's obit. last week on nscumber. She's buried in Greenwood
Cemetery, Everett, Mass.
Although death location isn't given for Walter, I assume it was in possibly
somewhere in Mass., U.S.A. with the body shipped home to Parrsboro for
burial. There is a headstone in St. George's Cemetery, Parrsboro for him.

OBITUARY: Walter Chandler
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 11th for Walter Chandler, whose
death occurred July 9th, following a lengthy illness, at the age of 65
years. Mr. Chandler was the son of the late James and Eleanor Taylor
Chandler, of Fox River. Following the sea since boyhood, until illness
forced him to retire some years ago, he resided in the U.S.A., where his
wife, the former Henrietta Roberts, of Parrsboro, predeceased him. Four
daughters and his only son reside in the States, and another daughter, Mrs.
M. Lewis, in Five Islands. The funeral service was held from Smith's Funeral
Home, conducted by Rev. C.R. Harris, Rector of St. George's Church.
Interment was made here.

OBITUARY: Mrs. Walter Chandler
The funeral took place on Sunday, September 1st, 1935, of the late Mrs.
Walter Chandler, who passed away on Thursday at 7:15 p.m. at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. D.R. Fader, 18 Reed Street, Arlington, Mass., of a long
illness of ten months from her operation. A large number of people were
present to pay a last tribute of respect to one who had endeared herself to
the hearts of the people. She had made her home in the U.S. for the past
thirteen years. Previously her home was in Parrsboro. She will be greatly
missed among her friends in Boston and her old home in Parrsboro. The
service was conducted by Rev. Charles Toben Hall, pastor of St. James Church
in Arlington, Mass. Favorite hymns of the deceased were beautifully
rendered: "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Nearer Thy God To Thee". The profusion
of floral remembrances was very beautiful. She is survived by her husband,
Walter W. Chandler; five daughters, Mrs. James A. Taylor, of Hyde Park; Mrs.
Darrell R. Fader of Arlington; Mrs. Ervin Griffith of Arlington; Mrs. Leo
Fauteax of Everett; and Mrs. H. Lewis of Five Island's, N.S.; and one son,
Maurice of New York. There is also one sister in Somerville, Mass., Mrs.
John Butler; a brother, Percy Roberts in Everett, Mass.; two sisters and two
brothers in Parrsboro, Mrs. Stanley Woods, Mrs. Eldon McCall, Mr. Fenton
Roberts and Mr. Freeman Roberts; and a sister, Mrs. Diana MacMillan of
Inverness, Cape Breton. Interment was made in Greenwood Cemetery, Everett,
Mass. The pallbearers were: Mr. Leo Fauteax, Mr. Darrell Fader, Mr. Ernin
Griffith and Mr. James Taylor. Funeral direction was by Waterman and Son.
