Theresa Guilderson etal.

Although I couldn't locate a marriage for her on the NSARM website, I
believe the extra data below is related.

I'm assuming William J. McGillvray was in some way possibly connected with
coal mining or the railway. He was born in Thorburn, somehow met Theresa
from Parrsboro, had issue of children in Pictou Co., then moved to Sydney
Mines.

OBITUARY: Mrs. W.J. Gillvery
Sydney Mines, June 10 - A native of Parrsboro, N.S. and a resident of this
town for a number of years, Mrs. William J. MacGillvery, 66, died at her
home yesterday after a long period of ill health. A member of the Roman
Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception, she had been an active worker
in it's various organizations for several years and was widely known
throughout the district. Surviving besides her husband is one daughter, Mrs.
R.J. Butts, Sydney; also two sisters and one brother, Mrs. James O'Connor,
of Pugwash; Mrs. Henry Jeffers, of Calgary, Alta.; and John Guilderson, of
Oldtown, Me.
Editor's Note: The late Mrs. MacGillvery was the former Theresa Guilderson,
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Guilderson, early settlers at
Diligent River, and later residents of Parrsboro, where the deceased spent
her girlhood days.)
