OBITUARY: Mancil H. Chandler
The death of Mancil H. Chandler, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Chandler, of
Beaver Dam Road, Parrsboro, occurred at his home recently. Although his
health had not been at the best for the past year, his death was unexpected.
He was fourteen years of age. Surviving are his parents; and six sisters,
Mrs. Vaughan Morris, Diligent River; Mrs. Hardy Dowe, Fraserville; Mrs.
William Lake, Fox River; Mrs. Emmerson Pettigrew, Parrsboro; Mrs. Clem
Bowden, Mrs. Errol Walker and a half-sister, Miss Maxine Dowe, all at home.
The funeral service was held at the home and conducted by Rev. H. Hamilton,
pastor of Trinity United Church. Interment was held in the family lot. The
pallbearers were: Hedley Henwood, Ronald Welch, David Brown, Hollis
Langille.
