CHAPMAN, SHEILA MAE The death of Sheila M. Chapman of
Quispamsis, NB, devoted mother, grandmother and beloved wife
of Robert "Bing" Chapman, occurred at the Saint John Regional
Hospital, on Wednesday, September 12th, 2007, after a lengthy
and courageous battle with A.L.S. Born in Lower Maccan, NS,
she was the daughter of the late Fidel and Elsie (Lewis) Gogan.
Besides her husband "Bing", Sheila is also survived by her two
children, Mark (Virginia) of Dieppe, NB and Cindy Yates (John)
of Rothesay, NB; six grandchildren, Joel, Colin and Tyler
Chapman, Nathan, Garrett and Luke Yates; two sisters, Iona
Dwyer (Reg) of Maccan, NS and Shirley White (Ron) of
Amherst, NS; two brothers, Russell Gogan (Judy) and David
Gogan (Audrey), both of Lower Maccan, NS; one brother-in-law,
Jim Rhindress of Amherst, NS; several nieces, nephews and
cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Noiles and
Carol Rhindress; two brothers, Amos and John Gogan. Resting at
Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill
Road, Quispamsis (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Thursday
from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday,
September 14th, 2007 at 1:00 PM from Kings Valley Wesleyan
Church, Quispamsis, NB. Interment will take place in Fernhill
Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the
