SULLIVAN, Elsie Lorean - 82, Wallace Station, died at the home of her
daughter in Halfway Cove, Guysborough Co., on Saturday, August 25, 2007.
Born in Lower Greenville, Cumberland Co., she a daughter of the late Raymond
and Rebecca (Langille) Brown. Elsie was trained as a CNA at Colchester
Regional Hospital, Truro and later worked at the Scotia Nursing Home in
Beaver Bank. She was an adherent of the Fundamental Bible Church,
Middleboro, and was a former member of Cumberland County Knitters
Association. She also enjoyed quilting and baking. Elsie loved her family
and was always known for her caring way with her children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. Elsie was the last surviving member of her immediate
family. Surviving are sons, Garnet (Josephine), Clarks Harbour; Vernon,
Springhill; Leslie, Amherst; Randy (Rosemarie) and PJ (Sandy), both of Lower
Sackville; daughters, Pauline (Stewart) Lively, Halfway Cove; Melody Mae
(Lenny), Springhill; Lorrie (Darryl) Morrison, Tatamagouche; 17
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband,
Percy; brothers, Carl, Hillson, Gerald and Raymond; sisters, Kathleen Rambsy
and Tressa Armour. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. today with funeral
service Tuesday, August 28, at 2 p.m., both in Mundle's Funeral Home, 204
Water St., Pugwash (243-2506). Burial in Eagle Hill Cemetery, Westchester.
Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the North Shore
Health Services Foundation or Guysborough Memorial Hospital Foundation.
