OBITUARY:
Fredericton Junction, N.B., July 22 - Mrs. David McAleese passed away at her
home here on Monday at the age of 46, following a long period of illness.
Mrs. McAleese was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richardson Tracy, and
spent practically all her life at Fredericton Junction. She married David
McAleese, Parrsboro. N.S. about 25 years ago. Her husband and two children,
Elvena and Gordon survive. Also, her mother and one brother, Reid, all of
this place. The funeral service was held Tuesday from the United Baptist
Church, Rev. Hugh G. Westrup officiating, with interment in Gladstone
Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Stanley Allen, P.W. Nason, S.H. McCracken
and Carroll Currie. Sisters of Mr. McAleese attending the funeral were Mrs.
Margaret Kirkpatrick, Parrsboro, N.S. and Mrs. William Fancy, St. Stephen.
Other relatives and friends were present from Tracy and Saint John.
Editor's Note: The David McAleese referred to above is the son of the late
Francis McAleese, former post-master at Parrsboro.
