OBITUARY

PARRSBORO, Oct. 11 - (Special) - The many friends of Gerald Morris, son
of Mrs. Charles Morris and the Mr. Morris, will regret to hear of his
death which occurred at his home here on Saturday afternoon at the age
of 53 years. Suffering from a heart ailment, he had been in failing
health for the past few weeks. He was a veteran of World War I, serving
overseas with the Forestry Battalion. A member of the Parrsboro Branch
No. 24 Canadian Legion he was the delegate from the local branch
attending the Legion convention in Annapolis a short time age. He is
survived by his mother, three sisters and four brothers. The sisters
are Edith (Mrs. William Murphy) New Glasgow; Kathleen (Mrs. S. E.
O'Regan), Parrsboro and Margaret (Mrs. Carroll Boylan) Nictaux Falls.
The brothers are Charles, Halifax, William, Parrsboro, Geoffrey, British
Columbia and Adrain in Ontario. The funeral was held Monday morning
from St. Brigid's Church Rev. J.P. Hayes conducting the service.
Interment was in St. Brigid's cemetery.
