OBITUARY

Many friends and relatives in Moncton and elsewhere will regret to learn
of the death of Miss Ruby Blanche Alward which occurred in the Moncton
Hospital Friday evening following a short illness. She was 35 years of
age. She was born in Apple River, N.S., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Alward of Albert, Albert County. Miss Alward had been a member
of the staff of Zeller's Ltd. since the opening of the Moncton store and
at the time of her death had been personnel supervisor in the city
branch. Efficient and popular she was held in high esteem by all who
knew her. Surviving besides her parents are two sisters, Mrs. Crandall
Smith (Hazel) of Albert and Mrs. Lloyd Taylor (Mabel) also of Albert and
three brothers, Kenneth of Minto and Edgar and Dalton of Albert.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the family home.
