WAGSTAFF (Cashen), Amelia "Millie" - Bedford, went home to God on Thursday, August 16, 2007, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Scotchtown, Cape Breton, Millie was a daughter of the late John D. and Katherine (Gillis) Cashen. Millie graduated from the Halifax Infirmary and worked as an RN until her retirement in 1986. Millie is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Lisa (Terry) Taylor, Tony Burns, John Gilbert Lynk; great-grandchildren, Charles and Patrick Taylor, Wayne and Tyler Burns; brother, John (Hattie) Cashin; many nieces and nephews. Millie was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Gordon Wagstaff; sisters, Mary Comfort, Agatha Zorn, Catherine Cryan; brother, Michael Cashen. No visitation by request. A memorial mass will be held Monday, August 20, at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Prince Street, Truro, with Father Joseph Christensen officiating. A reception to follow. Family flowers only. Interment in Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. The family would like to thank Dr. D. Swinamar, the Palliative Care Team, the VON staff, Home Care Nova Scotia, and RJF Health Care for their care and support during Mom's final weeks. WAGSTAFF, Charles Gordon - 84, Truro, passed away September 1, 2005, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Port Greville, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Rebecca (Parsons) Wagstaff. He is survived by his wife, Amelia "Millie" (Cashen); daughter, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Lisa (Terry) Taylor, Tony Burns, John Gilbert Lynk; great-grandchildren, Charles and Patrick Taylor, Wayne and Tyler Burns; sisters, Jean Thomas, Freda Cochrane, Dorothy Evans; brothers, Millard and Henry. No visitation by request. A memorial mass will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Truro, with Father Joseph Christensen officiating. Interment in Robie Street Cemetery.
