BEST, Sanford S. "Sam" - 69, Board Landing Road, Parrsboro, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007, in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Bishop) Best. He was a retired carpenter. He is survived by daughters, Ellen Bennett (Peter), Parrsboro; Anita LaPointe (Louis), Amherst; brother, Stuart (Lucy), Calgary; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn; son, Gary in infancy; sister, Elaine. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Lic. Marlene Quinn officiating.
