Obit: CHISHOLM, Marie Margaret [LeBLANC]

The death of Marie Margaret Chisholm of Minto occurred Sunday, August 12th, 2007 at the Queen's North Health Centre. Born in Amherst, NS on October 6th, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bessie (Cormier) LeBlanc. Margaret had worked in Montreal for Mr. and Mrs. Frank Selke, who was the general manager of the Montreal Canadians. She then moved to Hamilton where she worked at the Waldorf Hotel for several years as well as at Woolworths. She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, the ladies auxiliary and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 12, Minto. Surviving are her brothers, Raymond (Emily) of Minto, Ernest of Fitchburg, Mass and Frank of Moncton; a sister, Lorraine Barton of Chipman; several nieces, nephews; and by her special brother in law, Gerald Caissie. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander (Sandy) Chisholm; her brother, Aimee; and by sisters, Christine Caissie and Theresa Smith. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) where the family will receive visitors on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 14th, 2007 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Minto. Interment will follow in Saint Bridget's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
