Re: Boss Family

Hi Steve:

I'm also interested in a few Cumberland County BOSS's; particularly an
Eunice Ross Boss who is staying with the Dawson's in Minudie.

Is she in some way related????

I'm of the belief William Dawson was married to a Mary Venia/Lavinia BOSS
and Eunice Rose Boss is possibly a sister-in-law to William Dawson; sister
to Mary Venia/Lavinia Boss .

If you ever come across either of these two ladies in your BOSS genealogy,
I'm interested. My mother was nee Dawson from Minudie and I'm at a brick
wall tracing this family back past 1881.

Note:
I calculate 28 Nov 1904 less 26 days less 11 months less 86 years = 2 Dec
1818.
Using the 1901 Census as to what Dawson's were in Minudie 3 years earlier, I
would guess this is Mary Vinia / Lavinia (nee unknown), w/o William Dawson.
The day and month is right on but the year is off by 2 years.
