Obit: HUNTER, Gary Wayne

HUNTER, Gary Wayne - 51, Winnipeg, Man./Springhill, died suddenly on July 30, 2007. He was a son of the late Annie and Austin Hunter and lived in Springhill until he joined the air force at an early age and later retired. Gary enjoyed outside activities, gardening, fishing, family, friends and his time of solitude in the mornings. He is survived by his estranged wife, Linda; daughter, Brandy; stepsons, Eric and Gerard; brothers, Billy (Francis), Ray (Ruth), Darrell, Glen (Linda); sisters, Marilyn (Tom), Venetta (Matt), Leota (Charles); several nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his mother, Annie Hunter; father, Austin Hunter; brother, Wallace Hunter, and sister, Sharon Hunter. Gary has been cremated and his ashes are being returned for a graveside ceremony in Fenwick Cemetery on Saturday, August 4, at 2 p.m. followed by lunch in Emmanuel United Church, Amherst. Everyone welcome for a time of friendship and remembrance.
