Obit: Donald Leo 'Donnie' Neville, 28 July 2007

Donald Leo 'Donnie' Neville Kingston N.S. Donald Leo 'Donnie' Neville, 63,
of Kingston N.S., loving husband, son, father and especially grandfather
passed away Saturday, July 28, 2007 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital,
Middleton. Born in Springhill, he was the son of the late Ellis and Ola
Neville. As a young boy, Donnie grew up in New Waterford, where he still
has many friends. He retired after 35 years of service in the Canadian
Forces (R.C.N.). Donnie was involved in minor league sports, coaching
baseball and hockey. Due to his involvement with minor hockey, he had the
opportunity to coach two aspiring NHL players, Randy Gillian and Billy
Ranford. In later years he also played old timers hockey. An avid golfer,
he was a member of the Paragon Golf and Country Club, Kingston and a member
of the Kingston Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruby
Bond; daughter, Donna Lynn (Jeff ) Pipher, Wilmot and a son, Jerry,
Kingston. Papa's boys, Tyler, Matthew, Colby, Sam and Alex. Cremation has
taken place. By request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service
will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in St. Monica's Roman
Catholic Church, Middleton, Fr. Gerald Saulnier officiating. Family flowers
only, donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
