Re: cemeteries

In our area, several years ago, the Terrace beautification Society
was formed. Comprising mainly senior retired folk. A contact was made
to the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion and a few of the
senior, retired ex-service personnel took on the task of reclaiming
the original pioneer cemetery and made weekly visits over a period of
time as a group. Gras was mowed, shrubbery trimmed, headstones
cleaned and the whole area spruced up. Once this was accomplished,
individuals make trips on their own to maintain it, it doesn't take
much to upkeep. One more visit is planned again for next week.
Perhaps caring persons could do the same in each of the cemeteries
there.
