cemeteries in danger - information to be lost

Just home from visiting multiple cemeteries in Colchester, Cumberland
Counties, and along the lower part of Westmoreland Co. NB. An amazing
adventure, returning with well over 500 pictures. Most of the pictures were
taken in cemeteries, but I did do a fair bit of scenic and nature
photography at the same time. It really is a beautiful area!

I have yet to begin to sort through all the photos, but wanted to get the
word out about two cemeteries which are currently in danger. Both are badly
overgrown and accessible only to individuals able to tramp through woods and
battle the elements. Neither my husband nor I can do this type of thing. SO
if anyone is interested in recording the information before the stones are
totally destroyed, the two cemeteries are located in the Economy area near
Terry's Berries. You will have to go up the Economy River Road into
"Pleasant Hills". People of the area are more than willing to give exact
directions and possibly even guide you to the site. We were told names to be
found there would include Thompson, Morrison, Densmore, Marsh and others.

I do realize that Economy is in Colchester County, but I also know that many
who started out in Colchester Co. NS or Westmoreland Co. NB ended up in
Cumberland Co. (and vice versa) so the information to be had from these
cemeteries is potentially valuable to many people.

Is there anyone willing and able to take on the challenge?

Have a great day!

Ruth
