Obit: LOWTHER, Wanda Lee "Windy" [MOORING]

LOWTHER, Wanda Lee "Windy" - 55, of Queen Street, Springhill, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2007, at home. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Carl Benjamin and Grace Pearl (Langille) Mooring. Windy will be remembered for her great sense of humour and her devotion to her family and her pets, Zoe, Maggie, Petrie and Maddie. She is survived by her daughter, Jenna (Ryan Mallery), Amherst; granddaughter, Olivia Mallery; sisters, Marjorie (Glen) Hutchinson, Ontario; Carolyn Mooring, Springhill; special aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She shared a special closeness with nieces Carla, Diana and nephew David, and her "little man" Colton. She was predeceased by brother, Carl in infancy, and by sister, Janice Heffernan. Cremation has taken place by request. A visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, followed immediately by a memorial funeral service at 3 p.m., with Rev. David Lloyd-Pearce officiating, both held in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Springhill & District L.A. Animal Shelter Society would be greatly appreciated.
