I have Effie Janet Smith as the daughter of Frederick Charles Smith and
Ursula Jane Rogers.

I have Effie Dora Smith, born 4 January 1887, died February 1950, as the
daughter of Charles A. Smith and Albina Edith Yorke. Married to a
Lowell Brown.

OBITUARY

SPRINGHILL, Feb. 15 - The death occured Friday following a lengthy
illness of Mrs. Lowell BROWN. The deceased, who was 63 years of age,
was formerly Effie Smith of Parrsboro and had resided here for 27
years. She was a member of Lady Minto Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are her
husband; two sons, Everett and Percy, both residing here; one daughter,
Mrs. Frank (Mary) Smythe, also here; two brothers, Harvey Smith, Bear
River, and Burton Smith of Parrsboro and four sisters, Mrs. William
Dewar (Bessie), Springhill; Mrs. Rayburn Rector (Eva), Parrsboro; Mrs.
Gervin Skidmore (Evelyn), Parrsboro; and Reta of Economy. Funeral was
held Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Sinnott of the United Baptist
