Mrs. James E. Mattinson

Hello Susan,

You said you believed the 1924 obituary for Mrs. James E. Mattinson was Elizabeth Dixon. I believe you're correct. A headstone in Mount Pleasant Cemetery clearly lists:
Elizabeth Dixon, wife of James E. Mattinson, 1842-1924
(Same years of birth and death as in the obituary.)

Do you happen to know when James died? I believe it was in 1930, but I have no proof to support this date.
