Wednesday, June 10, 1987.

On Friday, June 12, Junction Video, Pugwash Jct., will cease to exist
and will be relocated to Pugwash as Harbour View Variety.

Karen STEEVES, Wentworth, graduated June 6 from the Community Services
Course at the NS Institute of Technology.

The Collingwood Fire Department was called to a house fire on Windham
Hill on Friday. The home, owned by Thomas CARTER, Sackville, NB, was
destroyed.

Sim RUSHTON is the new manager of Henley's Pharmacy, Oxford. Previous
owner George HENLEY retired March 31. The store is now operated in
conjunction with Wardrope's Pharmacy, Springhill.

Died - Clarence Frederick HUNTER, 78, Springhill, June 1.

Xavier University during a banquet for graduates at the Nova Scotia

since February 15.

Oxford boys won from Springhill Midgets baseball team hers on June 12 by
a score of 25-7. Oxford players were Lawson Mattinson, Owen Whitwham,
Reg Myatt, Wilson Dobson, Vernon Mitchell, Gerald MacIntosh, Glenn
Mattinson, Sherm Rushton, Vaughan Thompson and Douglas Horton.

daughter Devonna (Harold) Beaton. Predeceased by son Michael in
infancy; brother Donald; sisters Evelyn, Joy, Beatrice and Josie.

HANSEN, Harry, Winnipeg, Manitoba, formerly of Pugwash. Son of the late
Bernard and Harriette Hansen. Surviving are his wife Lillian (Tanner)
Jorgensen-Hansen; step-children, Darlene, Wilfred, Susan and Heather.
