Hi X Bluenoser, I also have sympatico which has changed my account, I run
Norton too, but have no trouble at all with outlook express. Have you
checked the tools button and options on Outlook? Perhaps you have the
encryption button checked? Just a thought.

Sorry for posting this but changes to my Sympatico account have made it
impossible for me to send messages using Outlook Express. FYI Sympatico
has gone to encrypted messaging and if you run NORTON anti-virus you
will have the same problem I now have. I now have to use a Hotmail
account to send messages and my Outlook account to receive them.
Ridiculous situation that requires me to throw away software that is
not cheap to maintain!
